Snow Song is a beautiful, little children's book that shows us a winter wonderland full of snow!
The word snow is used over and over and over... I wasn't sure if this book was purposely trying to use the word snow a lot or was trying to rhyme. Maybe it is actually a song? Personally, it was driving me insane seeing the word snow over and over, to the point it didn't even look like a word anymore. I don't think kids will notice this, only the parents.
This book would be a nice winter bedtime show more story. It doesn't feature any educational themes, but it's a sweet, simple narrative with pretty pictures.
The art style is soft, sweet and inviting. It's relatively simple, but makes me story feel homey.
Overall, this book is quite cute!
Two out of five stars for the overuse of the word snow. Otherwise, it would have been a solid 3.
