Lia is feisty and can hold her own and this just adds more to Nik’s interest in her yet he knows his lifestyle is not for someone like her. They go back and forth between attraction and hate but when Lia puts her life on the line and saves Nik’s life will things change or will Nik stick to his plan to send her away? When betrayal occurs and backs are against the wall will they find help in each other or will things fall apart because trust is not easily given let alone given twice. I loved this story because it had such strong characters, alpha broody mafia guys that would do anything to protect them, and Nik wasn’t like many mafia leaders I have read about. He was strong, relentless, could be cruel at times, but he would show some leniency and mercy if the occasion called for it and he had a heart of gold willing to help others or those he loved. A great read with a lot of twists and turns that kept me glued all the way through. I really hope we get a story about Dimitri and Ivy. show less

Personal Foul:
Reagan knew Garrett Stone in college and what she knew of him hasn’t changed much through the years. Garrett has been traded to a new team and while things feel kind of gloom and doom the one Brightside, he sees is he has another shot with the girl that made him think twice about show more relationships. As the tension heats up and now matter how much Reagan refuses his advances their chemistry is too much. I wasn’t a fan of how she threw his past in his face when she was upset because I understand her being scared and overreacting but to use someone’s pain that way is just wrong on many levels no matter the situation especially when something was an accident, and that person is changing who they were.
Fumbled:
Ivy and Jude have a one night that turns into one week. They find themselves running into each other and continuing this vacation fling as a thing, but feelings get involved. They both knew that something deep was happening, but a long-distance relationship is not easy, and it kills them to walk away. Things aren’t easy for this couple, but you’ll have to see how things work out for them.
Hail Mary:
As the troublemaker of his team Theo must clean up his act or his career is over. The team hires a babysitter she is to live with him, make sure he stays out of trouble, and he knows he can’t cross that line with her. These two were fun because they constantly kept trying to fight their feelings, but sometimes temptation is way too much.
Blind Side:
This one was emotional and had me a mess. Liam and Ava have been together since they were teenagers and they also knew they were it for each other, yet lately life is taking them both in different directions. As things keep becoming more tense and Ava feels like she needs to take a breather this ultimately helps Liam realize if something doesn’t change, he could lose the woman he has always loved. The pain and heartache these two felt I felt too, and I hated they struggled but it made the story real. Loved it!!

This book had me laughing so hard and falling hard for Dominic. Katie caught her ex cheating right before they were to take off on a cruise for her sister’s pre-wedding extravaganza, but now she doesn’t want to face him, yet she can’t really let her sister down so her sister gets to plotting. Katie finds herself rooming with the one guy she despises other than her ex, Dominic will she survive this two-week cruise? Dominic has always held an attraction for Katie since he first met her, show more but her inaccurate judgments of him has had the constantly bickering back and forth for a long time now. When Dominic finds a way for him and Katie to call a truce of sorts and a way for him to show her the real Dom, he just can’t pass it by. As these two put on a show for Katie’s ex Dom shows her what it would be like to really be his and Katie shows Dom how amazing she truly is. This book was full of laughter from aggressive flamingos, starfish incidents, a glory hill, and so much more and it was more than just laughter it was the perfect romance getaway with the most perfect book boyfriend. show less

I don’t want to spoil anything because this series has been one of a serious rollercoaster ride and this book is the best. These two characters come together with one goal in mind to take down Zade and finally end his campaign to hurt the Shadow crew. When their feelings become more involved will it be enough to save each other or are they doomed to lose it all? This action-packed read will have you on the edge of your seat, but the emotions from these two characters and their crews is show more what grips you and keeps you invested. I will say that Roxy in this book infuriated me, and I wanted to smack her around because even in the end after all that is done and sacrificed she still doubts one of them. My heart hurt with all these two endure but it was completely healed by the end and these two are my favorite in the whole series. show less
