Amy fled her life on the east coast after her marriage fell apart. She intended to get as far away as possible and start her life over. She lands in the small town of Willow Oaks, Oregon. As she rebuilds her life, she becomes a romance writer with good success. Her friend suggests that she take a part-time babysitting job for the man that has bought the Bed and Breakfast in town. She finds Same to arrogant and self-entitled. He does, however, adore his four-year-old daughter Gracie. When show more Sam’s mother unexpectedly arrives their lives become more chaotic. Can Amy keep up the ruse? Will Sam ever find true love again or will his mother ruin everything? This book made me laugh at some of the reactions and sob as hurtful pasts and truths were revealed.
Melissa Crosby has a winner with this debut love. I can’t wait for more from this exciting new author.

I just loved Mallory and Ethan, both have issues that are stopping them from moving forward, Mallory's are life long and Ethan's are more recent. I liked how they were attracted to each other but were totally awkward and slightly self destructive at times to each other and themselves which endeared them even more to you. This is the perfect mix of love, sweetness, loss, recovery, good friends and learning to love yourself and others ... oh and you will never look at the golden girls the same show more again!!! show less
Jenna and Dave are the picture perfect couple, they met and fell in love while they were in college and Dave became a successful surgeon while Jenna turned into the perfect housewife and mother. The thing about marriage is if you don't nurture it as well as each other you can become lost and this story is about trying to save a marriage and reignite love as well as individual passions. There are plenty of emotions to go through with Jenna and Dave and you get both sides but the best thing show more about this story is it is about falling back in love with the love of your life and remembering what they once were and what they can be again. show less
I thought Ben and Charlotte were great, yes at times they acted like children and I wanted to shake some sense into them but that was all part of the fun of reading this book. I liked that they had liked each other from afar for over 6 years and Ben decided to act on things at his sisters wedding and from there the adventure begins! I had't read book 1 but have now brought it so I can read Amy's story too then patiently wait for book 3 to come out!!
