A really good effort that I think does deserve it's own albeit small setting. The swords & sandals era is a difficult one to make accessible to players who aren't au fait with the intracies of its world. I think that this supplement helps offset that, & whilst it does provide seeds for further adventures, it still seem as though it isn't quite enough to make it feel like a workable, campaign based setting. It feels as though it falls short, mainly in the way that I jut can't see how you can show more make satisfying adventures & investigations in such a primitive world. Perhaps some immersion on my behalf in some of the bibliography might help, but then wasn't that the purpose of this supplement anyway? A nice scenario to round out the book though at the end. Would be good for a tournament. In fact, I think that the setting is likely to be best under those circumstances. show less
