Letty Frame

The FMC is so annoyingly whiney that even she annoys herself. It's a really slow burn yet spans an endless week of deliberate ignorance then suddenly she's having sex with someone she is so angry with that she doesn't want to talk to him until she jumps his bones. The girl gives me whiplash and the guys all growl but basically go bumbling around catering to her whininess and posturing possessively but seem to let her take turns giving them crumbs of attention. There are all these questions show more and hints of a stalker/vandilizer but no one seems to follow up on anything and they all even leave her alone, sleeping for hours while they are so worried about her safety. It's also strange how she apologizes all the time for her annoying personality like the author knows exactly how annoying she will present but continues despite it. And every time they endanger her, the other characters say sorry and apologize but they continue to behave stupidly. Sorry doesn't matter if she's bleeding. I kept going with the story hoping it would get better and I really enjoyed the narrator's British accent but it was a very frustrating listen/read. show less

Enjoyable, took me through all the emotions, some time skips that I would've liked to read more details, but it covered most of the good stuff in an unrushed pace. A little bit of a personality roller coaster due to personality conflicting with designation but was believable overall.
