Although this book did not give me any insight moments, I thought that the motivational approach was actually very helpful. Join a self-guidance book (which is exactly what I needed) with interesting real-live Navy SEAL application (which is just what catches my interest) and there you have it: a nice book that helps you boost your self-confidence with practical exercises, examples and even a PT plan in case you are seriously thinking about joining the Navy SEAL... which is not exactly my show more case, but it gave me a bit of light on how I can put my life back in the line.

For a book that is directed to people who have in mind joining on of the toughest army forces in the world, I thought there was room for a lot more hammering and psychological preparation. Navy SEAL Training could have focused more specific points of the BUDS process, but it ended up being slightly... generic. For a book to boost morale regardless of the reader's real ambitions, it was pretty nice, direct and methodical.

If you're thinking about joining the Navy SEAL... well, you still have a lot of homework to do. If you're just been aimless and feeling like you need something to point you to the right direction, this book is pretty nice.
