Charming Bookshop Mysteries : Small Town Beach Romance. Book 6 (Small Town Beach Romance Series) by Amy Rafferty
I can honestly say I never saw this ending coming. There were so many names and theories being discussed that I lost track of who was who and who did what. I was gobsmacked about the leak. Lacey does figure it out and provides more evidence that was hidden but she has to control her temper. It was hard to watch her have excuses for everyone else but when it really mattered, she disregards her grandfather's advice.
While I hate serials for the most part, this worked very well. It was prefect show more if you only had a hour or so to read at one time. Each episode took about an hour so you could get up and do other things. However, this last part was rushed with the explanation. Another week's cliffhanger would have been okay since so many people were involved. The additional clues and explanation could have taken two weeks to conclude. show less

Starting Over In Key West: Leave A Rose In The Sand: A Florida Keys Romance Novel. Book 1 (A Florida Keys Romance Series 2) by Amy Rafferty
MY GOD, WHAT A MESS!!! I was captivated with by the first chapter as Christy saw her husband die in a fire and there was nothing that she could do as her feet were frozen to the ground. Forward,
fifteen years later, home fires were set killing the people as they slept. I liked Christy as she reminded me of a dog with a bone when it came to her family and as acting fire chief she was determined to catch the arsonist. I was angry at Aaron with thoughts that he jilted Shannon at the altar. I show more admit that I needed a score card to keep up with the characters, and I confused Dustin with Justin but overall I was pleased with the story! show less

I HATE LIES AND HALF TRUTHS!! From the time that Melissa came on the scene, I wanted to slap Logan so hard and ask," What were you thinking?" I knew that Melissa was a spoiled brat when his mom meddled in his love life from the time that he was a sixteen year old boy, but now that he was a man, she still tried to hook him up with Melissa! I fault Hope for the disaster that she made when she refused to talk Logan when she saw him kissing Melissa. Melissa was a manipulator and only thought show more about herself to get what she wanted! A seven year old secret and lies had broken up Hope's brother and Logan's friendship, AND I CAN'T WAIT TO READ BOOK TWO!!

HOLY SMOKES!! Poor Jess and Bryon can't catch a break!! I was on the edge of my seat as the couple was kidnapped and put in the basement 0f the Oliver Tavern and poor Bryon had been beaten so badly with one eye swollen. I hated Karen and wished that I could just shoot her and all of her crew. AND I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE FINAL BOOK!
