This story is an unexpectedly touching read that beautifully navigates the delicate path of healing and rediscovery of self-worth after emotional trauma. Isolde's journey, set against the backdrop of her sister's wedding and complicated by her ex's presence, unfolds with depth as she hires a pack of escorts, only to discover an unforeseen connection. The exploration of themes like trust, consent, and the power of understanding and supportive relationships added layers to the narrative, show more making it more than just a romance. The book skillfully balances moments of vulnerability with strength. It's a testament to the healing power of love in all its unconventional forms and the importance of self-discovery. show less
This was an intense, emotional ride that pulled me in from the very first page. Lena’s journey after betrayal and near death was raw and powerful; she’s fiercer than ever, yet her vulnerability makes her incredibly relatable. I loved how much she and her friends grew, not just in strength but in their ability to heal from trauma and lean on one another. Vari, the little dragon, completely stole my heart with his loyalty and protectiveness. The new allies, Isaelle and Dalas, added even show more more depth to the rebellion against Andaros and the corrupt Elders. While the pacing dragged a bit in places, the character development and emotional stakes more than made up for it. show less
I absolutely loved this story and was so happy Devyn Sinclair finally gave Eva her own story. Eva has always felt like a mystery in the Slate City Omegaverse, and this novella beautifully reveals what life is like behind her celebrity image. I loved how grounded and emotionally aware she is, especially in supporting her twin, Esme, while still carrying her own grief. The instant connection at the award show was pure fate, and Eva’s pack quickly became one of my favorites, devoted, gentle, show more and entirely focused on her. There's no unnecessary drama, just comfort, chemistry, and deep emotional safety. It’s fast-paced, spicy, and incredibly satisfying. This novella felt like coming home to Slate City and was the perfect, heartwarming addition to the series. show less
This book captivated me with its thrilling blend of romance and fantasy, set in a world torn between humans and dragons. Princess Katalena, destined to marry a harsh prince, finds herself in the clutches of three dragon heirs who were supposed to kill her but instead become her protectors. The story elegantly peels back layers of misunderstanding and myths about dragons, showcasing a plot rich with themes of conflict, alliance, and survival. The bond that forms between Katalena and the show more dragons adds a compelling romantic twist, enhancing the intrigue. This book ends on a cliffhanger that left me eagerly anticipating the next installment. A mesmerizing start to a promising trilogy! show less
