The Life Cycle of a Butterfly is a great pattern book for younger students as well as Multilingual Learners. This book demonstrates a pattern of life changes throughout a development of a butterfly. Some children are aware how a butterfly grows, but this book will allow children to make a deeper connection and think critically using patterns throughout the process. A science book such as The Life of a Butterfly would also be great to work with ELL’s using picture cues and patterns to read show more and understand text. I would recommend having this book around in your library. show less
I chose to read this book because I love to learn about different animals. I would put this into a classroom library because It has many great pictures to give children a visual of what they are learning about. It also gives many great facts about hedgehogs and their specific environment.
I think this book would be a good level for some kids I am student teaching. It has short sentences and not very many to a page. It also has a glossary in the back and gives more things students can do.
A fun book about planet Mars. The book includes a lot of basic information and fun facts.Included are actual images of the planet and its surface with descriptions along the pictures.
