I really liked this book because it was simple but it was also informative about the animals on a farm. I liked the illustrations in this book because even though they weren't real life pictures they still depicted real animals without looking like cartoons. I also really liked how the book was organized. The book showed an illustration of the animal with the name of the animal highlighted along with a fact about the animal. The book also had a button that you can push to hear a real life show more sound the animal may make. I thought it wasn't too overwhelming for a children's informational book and it was just enough information to keep a young child interested. This truck's name is "Tow Mater" because he is a tow truck who is also a hick who calls tomatoes tomaters. Disney used to at least give us cynical nonsense with a little bit of pride in craftsmanship.

Around the farm is a great book to read to littles! It teaches them all about animals with bright, fun vibrant colors to grab their attention! Not to mention the sound effects that come with the book.
