Easy to understand, clear, if a little outdated by now. I still use this for higher up mathematics when I forget a concept.
I'm teaching myself math after 20 years of ignoring math. The Saxon 'spiral' system of constantly reviewing old material while adding new material is very helpful. Math finally makes sense.
