Benning moves to Pink Springs to watch over his late friend's, Harlow, family and friends. He meets Fiona at the bar she manages for Harlow. Her ex-boyfriend is harassing her and Benning steps in. Both are attracted to each other, but Benning tries to stay away because of his age and friendship with Harlow. Will they work it out?

I liked Benning and Fiona. Both have scars from life. I liked they were not perfect but flawed. They have to take a chance on each other. They also have to be honest show more with each other. Benning has more to overcome. I liked how he protected Fiona.

This is a good start to the series. I look forward to more in this series. show less
