After picking up a bit at the end of the second volume, this one immediately falls to pieces as it meanders around doing nothing. A long sequence with an old priest who looks like a young boy is supposed to be funny, but it is not, not even a little bit. Then there are some tiny, slow bits of romantic progress with choppy, episodic chapters featuring jewelry shopping, a haunted mirror, a visit to a grave, and catching a cold, but I just couldn't bring myself to care.
I'm not even halfway show more through this series at this point, and I'm not really connecting with the plot or characters, and the art is nothing special, so I think it is time to step away from it. Byyyyeeeeee. show less

The first volume didn't do much for me, but this time around I found myself chuckling at the cheesy, over-the-top developments -- suddenly, monsters! -- and getting sucked into the petty mean-girl sparring and maneuvering. I'll keep an eye out for the next volume.
A Korean woman named Eunha Park dies and ends up resurrected or reincarnated in the storyline of a novel she once read. It's a fantasy world that's vaguely based on 19th century England with members of the aristocracy all plotting about the arranged marriages that will best advance their status. Knowing her character, Raeliana McMillan. is doomed to be murdered early on in the plot, Eunha seeks to rewrite her fate.
It's a manhwa adaptation of an online novel and the concept isn't that show more original, so it all feels mild and watered down, but my library has the second volume so I'll give it one more try before letting it drop along the wayside. show less

I loved this series so much. It has made me laugh out loud so many times. I love the facial expressions of the characters, and I love the banter between Noah and Raeliana. It's a very interesting story with a good romance. I recommend if you like enemies to lovers, guy falls first, and yearning in your romance books.
