She loves all forms of romance and you can find her latest read not far from her reach. Nikki writes contemporary romance with a touch of danger. Her love of realistic characters who face real problems provides a story that touches the hearts of many. As a writer, reader and lover of words, it only made sense that she publish her stories. Her first series, The Heroes of Calvano Security, were first written for only her to enjoy. But now, years later, they are here for you too.

This was a new to me author and series starter. The storyline was plausible and had some suspense. There were times that it came across as forced or cheesy. I detest exclamation points and there were a lot in this story so that took some getting used to.
While this wasn't my favorite book, I still appreciate this author and her hard work. I can't write to save my life so kudos to her for this book. Even though it's not my favorite doesn't mean someone else won't like it. Therein lies show more the beauty and magic of books. show less
