Scarlet and Carter's first run in with each other is the Mafia's form of a "meet-cute". I love Scarlet. She is one feisty firecracker. The way she just kept taunting Carter and calling him 'killer-boy", left me with the biggest smirk on my face. I was smirking and laughing so much that my jaw was sore.

All it took was one hundred and ninety-eight days for these two to meet up again. Regarding whom is in charge, they are both equally strong. The chemistry between Scarlet and Carter is show more scorching! Get to close to them and you could get burned.

Their first kiss was everything and more! Yet, it was only the beginning. Gimmie all the spicy scenes! I could not get enough of these two. I am totally obsessed with this book. Lilith knocked it out of the park with this one! It is amazing. show less

Lilith did warn that I would be frustrated reading this book due to the slow burn romance. She was right. There were many times that I did want to throw my phone across the room in anguish. Lilith, you had me on the edge of my seat, gripping my phone in anticipation of Finn and Evelyn. Yet, I loved every moment of this book.

Evelyn is a fighter. Finn was surprised by just how strong she really is. He was even impressed by her. Finn fell for Evelyn but the more that he resisted, the more I show more became invested in these two. Lilith really made me wait for that first kiss, but it was so worth it. Once, these two crossed the line and gave in, the spice got turned up. show less

First off, I do have to say that I did struggle a little bit in the beginning with finding an emotional attachment to Ronan and Annika. Yet, after a few chapters, this was no longer an issue. In fact, I could not get enough of these two. Annika told Ronan to step up and he sure did deliver!

I am booking my next trip to an island with a sexy man. So that I can be locked in paradise and not want to leave the bedroom. When Ronan would growl, I could hear his voice in my head. These two really show more brought the heat. Yet, they were not the only couple. There is Finn and Hanna, who I instantly hit it off with. They made a good couple as well. Looking forward to reading Vincent's story next. Dangerous Strokes is only "dangerous", if you miss out on this book. It is not to be missed! show less

I really enjoyed this short FF story from author, Lilith Roman. When it comes to religious stories, I toe the line on them. I am selective to the types of these stories I will read. I am not a fan of the story if it is too religious. Yet, this was not the case with this story.

Serafima and Vera's love was a sweet and beautiful one. There was not a lot of details provided about their intimate moments. However, the little details that were given, provided enough content for me to see how much show more in love Serafima and Vera truly were with one another. This story just made me wish it was longer and want to read more books by Lilith. show less
