A rather nice introductory book on world religions. Most books on this subject which are at least somewhat neutral is often hard to find. The book, however, does spend perhaps to much time into going into detail into Christianity and Judaism with not nearly as much devotion into other religions which the reader is less likely to know about. The information is not dry and the writing style is rather engaging. Not by far the end-all and be-all of books on world religions, but certainly not a show more bad overview. show less

Textbook for Strayer's religion class. It has a few unsubstantiated claims about Islam and one of the contributor's has a PP on Islam, the religion of peace.
