Ayurvedic Astrology
Self-Healing Through the Stars
by David Frawley

Wow, I am very excited to see this book, that blends Vedic medicine and Vedic astrology. Broken into 3 parts, the first teaches about astrological factors and it's connection to the body in a spiritual, mental, emotional and physical way. The second part reflects on available treatments discussing outer methods like herbs, aromas and foods and inner methods like planetary deities, gemstones and mantras in great detail. I loved show more the planetary mantras.

The third and final part contains thirty-three sample charts that give us an idea of how the whole thing blends together. The author states that even beginners in Vedic astrology can obtain good information from this section, and from my experience on viewing this book I think that even someone severely astrologically challenged like myself can get a lot out of it too. I would recommend this book to those seekers that may be drawn to the marriage of healing and astrology done in a honest, simple and compassionate way. Thanks David, your book makes me want to learn more.

Astrology of the Seers
A Guide to Vedic/Hindu Astrology
David Frawley

I must admit this 283 page book on Vedic astrology has helped me to get a better handle on this wise and wonderful divination tool. The simple and easy to follow format is just perfect for someone like me who has some understanding when it comes to astrology in general, but not enough to really do much with it.

It's kind of funny actually, I was just starting to feel like i had a handle on the astrology I grew up with and show more then all of a sudden I learned about this very old and deeply mystical form and it showed me new aspects of myself that I had been missing. I found the charts and pictures very helpful and easy to comprehend. I would recommend this sweet little package to anyone who has a desire to learn more about revealing the truths of karma and destiny in their lives. Thank you David, for teaching this old dog a new trick.

Love & Light,

"The Rig Veda is not only one of the oldest sacred scriptures of the world, but also one of the most misunderstood. Past scholarship has dismissed the hymns of the Rig Veda as being expressions of a primitive animistic mentality that only rarely rose to true spiritual and philosophical heights. David Frawley's book demonstrates that this judgmental view is ill-founded. This is an important and riveting book, ushering in a new and sounder tradition of Vedic interpretation and scholarship." show more Georg Feuerstein show less
Ayurveda, Natures Medicine is an excellent introduction to the full field of Ayurvedic Medicine from diet and herbs to yoga and massage. It has a notable emphasis on practical self-care and daily life regimens that makes it helpful for everyone seeking health and wholeness. The book is an excellent primer for students beginning in the field and who wish to have a firm foundation to understand the entire system.
