This is yet another delicious and amazing tale from Rube Shae AND!! The start to a new series!! How much better could it be!!

Ethan has loved Tegan since the moment she was born and knew that she was his mate, when she turned 18! But Ethan has kept this wonderful blessing to himself, not because He wanted too! But because Tegan struggled with the one thing he could not help her overcome...she was not a bear!! Not that it made a difference to Ethan! I'm completely enchanted by this new Blackbeary Creek series and it's only the first book! I absolutely loved Ethan and Tegan's characters, I'm also totally intrigued by Tristan! The hotel owners and the rest of Blackbeary Creek.

The plot was sweet but with the hint of the dark side. The writing was smooth and inspired....I cannot wait till book two!

Shapeshifter romance. Plot was thin. Reason why he didn't tell her she was his mate didn't really make sense, it was pretty lame. Short easy read with a little suspense and romance. I doubt I'll bother with the rest of the series.

Series is starting to lose energy. Too much focus on spanking for the sex to be hot. Esp since its pretty unlikely she would like it given that she's been abused.

Too bad, i was kinda liking it.

I love anthologies because there are so many new authors that you can discovered all at once. This anthology had one of my favorite authors Charlene Hartnady which was the main reason I chose to read it. But there are also many entertaining short stories by some very good authors. I enjoyed most of the novellas with an exception of a few which were just too raunchy for my taste but most of them have interesting characters and story lines. Of all the shorts, for me the most enjoyable reads show more were:
