Lou Brooks

This book is wonderful for kids who may not be into a traditional style of poetry. The illustrations fit along with each little story perfectly and were very clever. The writing itself was also great and created many silly little stories for kids to read. I think this book would be great to use with kids as an introduction or even just a silly replacement for poetry.

This is a fun book to try and read without getting tongue twisted. At the beginning you learn what the difference between a limerick and a tongue twister is. It is a fast paced book that is fun to read. Children will learn different types of poetry besides just rhyming.
