It is a compelling read that is well written and has some wonderfully developed characters. They are a bit cliche, but still, the conflicts and struggles between them help keep the reader turning the pages. The plot is compelling enough to overcome the slight character deficiencies and Remer has enough familiarity with the locations and the settings to make it an interesting, as well as a quick, read. 3.5 stars. show less
