Another great book by Peter Styles.
This is a second chance romance, and what I love more about it is the realistic way in which the relationship develops.
This two will have a long, angsty way to get their HEA, as both are too scared to trust each other again. There is no instantaneous forgiveness, nor immediate trust between them. In fact, to lie to each other and to themselves is their first, gut-reaction. There is guilt, and pain, and so many issues... but slowly, both, Austin and Leo, show more manage to overcome all of them and set the foundations for an adult, mature relationship.
As always, Mr Styles writing is superb, and his characters are well-rounded and will drive you up deeply into the story. Another recommended read.

Well, firefighters... who dosen't like them?
This is a bundle of four books, although two of them share the main characters, and there are all related, as some characters make an apparition or are mentioned on more than one. Of them, the one that I liked the most was 'Fear of Getting Burned', as the storyline got me from the beginning. And who can resist a story with a Dalmatian called Pongo in it? C'mon, everybody loves 101 Dalmatians *laughs*
All the stories have characters that are complex, show more and sometimes hard to like, at least until you get their motivations, and that's part of why I like them so much.
The writing is, as always with Peter Styles, flawless, and enticing. And, I won't say which story, to not be guilty of spoil it, but not all of these guys get their HEA.
In short, this bundle is a great read. show less

A lovely story with a setting in a little town, which, IMHO, adds richness to the interactions between characters.
I really loved the connection between Peter and Drew, and how they go from lust to love in a way that didn't feel rushed or unrealistic. A feeling-good story with the right amount of hotness, the right size to read in one afternoon, curled in a couch with hot cocoa... or iced tea if you live where I live :P

I do love my cowboys! The only thing that kept this story from being a five star read is that both Kyle and A.J. acted and seemed more like teens than grown men. I enjoyed the friction between them buy would have liked for them to act more like thirty year old men. Claire and her family were a very pleasant surprise that rounded out the family. Well done!
