Rob Kearney

Summary: This was a powerful story about a boy named Rob who is very strong. He has always been very strong since he was a kid, and he prides himself off his talented abilities. One day, he is at a competition and people start to say that people that look like him aren't strong. Rob doesn't let this bring him down and he wants to prove them wrong. He eventually shows everyone that he is strong and he successfully defies the stereotypes that people said.
Comments: I thought this book had a show more great message and I think it's important to show students that they should not feel discouraged by stereotypes. This book shows that if you are passionate enough, and really put your mind to something, anything is achievable. I love how positive the message is and I would definitely consider adding this story to my future classroom. show less
