- A small collection of deeds and documents (68 items, 1514-1813) collected by Richard Williams of Celynog, relating mostly to properties in Montgomeryshire as well as Flintshire, Merionethshire and Shropshire, were bequeathed to the National Library of Wales in 1906. His collection of miscellaneous 17th to 19th century correspondence and papers, consisting of examples of Welsh literature, Welsh poetry, musical compositions, works on Welsh grammar, medical recipes, extracts from various newspapers and periodicals, tithe accounts, and genealogical, geographical, historical and political manuscripts, including manuscripts relating to religion in Wales, with examples of Welsh religious literature, Welsh sermons and hymns, and manuscripts relating to the Welsh Congregational churches, and translations of charters granted to the abbey of Strata Florida (65 volumes, 'Celynog Manuscripts') have now numbered NLW MSS 527-592. A volume containing material collected by Richard Williams for the second edition (1887) of Philip Yorke, The royal tribes of Wales ... (1799), with a few notes in the hand of Isaac Foulkes ('Llyfrbryf'), the publisher of the second edition, is NLW MS 801D.
