Absolutely fabulous and engaging conversation, probably 4.5 stars if that was allowed. Sailing, weather, history - it's all here. A subject that I had sometimes wondered about - what it was like to be a sailing captain - but could not ever experience except through this book (I am plagued by seasickness). I learned so much from this volume. Thanks to the author for putting it together.

So much about weather, relatively little of the shipboard context. It was too much for me.

Interessant, aber teilweise etwas langatmig und vor allem interessant, wenn man große Erfahrung auf See oder beim Segeln hat. Summa summarum aber ein gutes Buch.
