Both of these men were broken from different traumas, but once they met, their kinks aligned.

I absolutely loathed Maddy's toxic work environment and the way it affected him but he held his own beautifully!

The guilt that Derreck held with his previous "partial" sub that we met in the first book was there but as he and Maddy have more scenes, he learns to cope with it.

I definitely recommend this series as a whole!.

New author for me, but one that I think I'll be exploring more of. As is a habit of mine I started with the second book not realizing that this was a series. I'll have to go back to the first book since they each, (there's currently 3), pick up where each of the previous ones leave off. It's listed as an M/M romance but there really isn't as much romance as you would think...but I 'd have to say that there is a great deal of love. "Unkinked" is a BDSM club. The first books I ever read that show more featured a BDSM club was K.C. Wells & Parker Williams "Collars and Cuffs" series, which I'm still reading and remains one of my absolutely favorite series, but this was nothing like that series other than the club type and that the two main characters had an "over the moon" type of dynamic that gave the reader hope that Maddy was going to get what he was so desperately searching for. I can only think of two words that really describes this story, "raw" and "addictive". show less
I love the dynamic between Henley and Li! For being the 3rd book in this series, I love how the danger and mystery were portrayed compared to the first 2 books; it gave it a little something extra that we hadn't seen so far. MC Roth has quickly become one of my favorites this year!.

I had been waiting for this book to come through as an ARC when I read the last Kinked Up book and it did NOT disappoint! I read this in a matter of hours and stayed up until 1:30AM to finish it so here we go:

My heart broke for Cambry at the beginning. He doesn't know how to love anyone because no one, including his crappy parents have ever shown him any kind of affection so his nerves were basically shot and he lashes out at anyone who tries to get close. When he arrives at Feral Woods, show more Bryce and Jake can immediately sense his fears and trust issues and have to find a way to get through to him.

Jeremiah ended up being a favorite side character of mine because you could tell that even though he might have been scared to be close to Cambry's 'beast', he refused to back down and just wanted to comfort him. Plus, he basically set the scene for Cambry to get close to people (what a great friend!)

The spicy scenes in this were in fact, SPIIIICY. Bryce and Jake took the reins to allow Cambry to get comfortable enough to join in and it was fantastic to see his turnaround.

Cambry's parents can step on a Lego barefoot though...

I hope we see more of Cambry, Bryce and Jake in the future. And maybe some more of Dylan...?.
