David Read was a white boy in the 1920's and 1930's whose mother ran a hotel deep in Tanzania. He grew up with the Masai children. This is his incredible story--of African wildlife--beautiful and scary--and of the Masai people. Great story for anyone interested in Tanzania or the Masai.
