I seriously loved this book.
Second book in the series, I strongly recommend book 1 is read 1st as it sets the scene of the abduction and crash land on the planet and book 2 picks up where book 1 ended.
I didn't think I was going to enjoy this one, when I read book 1 but it was sooo good.
The Hero adores the heroine. He is so besotted with her but she is wary due to her experiences in captivity.
The captivity is explained at the start as the heroine has a nightmare so details from the events show more that led to the escape are not rehashed but we get to see what happened to Lucie.
It was a little push/pull from Lucie initially but she does have good reason which becomes clear a bit into the story.
We learn extra details about the planet and its culture and wildlife and how they use it to the full to survive.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
There is ex-drama and I loved it.
I thought it was really clever the way it is developed and resolved.
No cheating despite appearances at first.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series and updates of previous characters and the couple from book 1.
HEA but I expect we will see the relationships develop as the series goes on.

I wasn't as keen on this book as the previous.
Some of the girls want to 'play the field' which I'm not keen on.
Hero is besotted with heroine from day 1.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
Flashbacks through dreams which were a bit confusing at times.
The deceptive mating was a bit contradictory, there had been a big deal made about choice but although I understood some of the reasons it did feel wrong.
There are consequences in this story from the previous books in show more series so best to read in order.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series and updates of previous characters and couples from previous books.
HEA but each couple will reappear in following books and reader will see how their relationship develops.
Interesting new culture and wildlife and how they use it to survive.

Good start to a new alien abduction series.
Loyal Hero. No cheating.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
No ex drama.
Interesting new culture, language, food and planet development.
HFN.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series.

My only criticism is I found a few bits repetitive, repeating events that happened to the tribe for example, bout events to do with their treatment by the kidnappers.
Sweet and funny...laugh out loud! Love the little purple babies and their exasperated new Daddies...

Made me smile.... what more could you wish for? oh.... Happy Ever After!
