The first half of the book theoretically/conceptionally motivates exercises involving the perineum and its surrounding muscles. The second half seems to consist of specific exercises, but I did not read it because I already found the first part quite uninspiring. The text is very esoteric despite a few desperate attempts to give it a scientific appearance. I can not see how the information in the book is supposed to help me and I do not buy the huge amount of claimed benefits.
A detailed and thorough study of Moola Bandha, one of the three yogic lock practices focusing on the pelvic floor region. Some knowledge of yoga, pranayama, and the risks of energy/kundalini work are recommended, but it's not a difficult read, just dense.
This text focuses on the theory and practice of bandha. The physical, pranic and psychotherapeutic effects are explored, including the relationship between moola bandha and acupuncture. Little has ever been written about the ancient practice of bandha, which is regarded as an important aspect of both hatha and kundalini yogas.
