An insiders story of Countrywide. Executive level, marketing focused, came in from the outside. First person stories add a dimension that the news never gets ... but it takes time to pull the pieces together. Worth a read only if you want that inside view. In this case - Countrywide made the typical growth to perpetuity forecast, which of course looks idiotic in hindsight.
