The writers of this board book did a better job of creating a story that is suitable for young readers than many other Dora books that we have read. The text is just one to three simple sentences for every two page spread. The story is about Dora and her friends making wishes on a bright star. The reader gets a chance to make a wish, and even the star makes one. This book is a nice read aloud, and it has the bonus of being written in English and Spanish. It is a board book based on a show more television character that is surprisingly sweet and readable, if not great. The illustrations are bright and, well, Dora-like. This is a decent book, better than I expected, and I would choose it over most other character-based stories. show less
Another Dora adventure. Dora and her friend Boots takes children an on an adventure to rescue the Snow Princess. Along the way they discover the Forest is melting and work to save it. Of course it is not a Dora adventure without the sneaky fox Swiper. This was a favorite for my oldest and now for my youngest. Interactive and fun, children are able to guess the plot by the illustrations alone.
A great book to teach children about visiting the doctor. Teachers can use this book as a way to teach children about the work of doctors. Parents can read this to their children before going to the doctor to help them feel more comfortable.
This is a really great book because there is a witch and a crystal and a princess. Whenever someone smiles in the crystal it will make it snow and since the witch cast a spell on the princess, Dora and boots had to come to save the day.
