A book that is very definitely biochemistry rather than molecular biology.
None of that stuff about genes, expression, operons and so on. This was about the physical properties of the DNA molecule: how and why it curls, what methylation is chemically, things like that.
Obviously the details of this stuff don't much matter to me, and there were some parts that were a hard slog and that I skipped over. But, all in all, it was an interesting and worthwhile read; not too hard to understand, and show more very interesting to see a different side of DNA science. show less
