This book was vile, and disgusting, and I completely despised it. But I couldn't put it down. For a fanatical Sherlock Holmes fan, this is the most exquisite horror story imaginable. Do not read this unless you like the sort of stories that turn your stomach inside out from the descriptions and make your brain do somersaults trying to wrap itself around the implications. It's a perfect nightmare.

It may be one of the top five horror stories I've ever read.

It wasn't the gory details that disturbed me, that sort of thing goes along with the territory of the Ripper. It was the authors lack of respect for the real people involved.

It seemed to me, that he forgot he was not writing total fiction.

I borrowed it from the library, I have it for 3 weeks, I honestly don't suppose I will finish it. Once he began referring to the people {women} of White Chapel as something other than human, I just tossed it back on my pile and went ahead to what else I show more checked out.

This book's main character is, needless to say, Sherlock Holmes. And it is the story about "Jack the Ripper" who is famous killer in Sherlock Holmes story. But it is not written by Arthur Conan Doyle. The story is intersting. I think the auther was be nervous. Because Doyle is a very great novelist. But the auther is great too because of a marvelous unexpected twist.

The main characters,Holmes and Watson,meet a horrible and difficult case.That's murder that a man calling Jack The Ripper himself rips and kills women one after another.But there is a wirepuller behind the case...
This story wasn't written by Conan Doyle,but I think this is very interesting.There is a battle of Holmes and the wirepuller in this,and it's exciting.
