The Hidden Gulag: The Lives and Voices of Those Who Are Sent to the Mountains: Exposing Crimes Against Humanity in North Korea's Vast Prison System by David Hawk
A report on the North Korean concentration camps including a great number of detailed first-hand witness testimonies. This second edition also contains a set of satellite photographs and camp layouts based on the testimonies. It's probably the most complete report available on this disgraceful part of the world's last totalitarian country. It will be an important historical record for posterity. Hopefully it will serve spur political action as well.
