I wasn't sure what to expect with this book but the author makes a great case using Biblical text to explain his thoughts on what Heaven will actually be. It definitely is different than the God sitting on a throne on a cloud and is singing in white robes pictures many of us have. His thought process of God restoring his creation and us continuing to live as he originally intended, before the fall, is well thought out and I think is very plausible based on the Biblical text. On the negative, show more I do not like that each chapter ends with a link to additional resources but is essentially a link to buy more products or services. It feels like a sales plug at each chapter. I do not mind the resources being available but put this in the intro and again at the end of the book, I do not want to feel like someone is trying to sell me something after each chapter. Also the format of the book I found a bit harder to read than some. Specifically the margins on the pages and spacing of the text at times, of course this does not take away from the content, but physically makes it a bit harder to read show less

This book started out feeling like a quick, semi-easy read for me. Then I had to slow down so that I could focus more and try to absorb and take in what I was reading. The author was very persuasive and giving me a perspective, a theory that I'm unfamiliar with. Not that I'm very familiar with theories of forever, but still, it was new. And I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it or how it really matches up with the Bible, since I didn't look up his references for context or different show more interpretations. It will be a book that I continue to think about in relation to how eternity could be (and so, also, how I and other humans can be now) and may eventually go back to read through it again. show less

Finally figured out how to review this book on this site. A 73-year-old invalid who lives only for God and to read. I give this a rating of 4.9, the reason being that your heart must be in the right place to read and absorb all that this very spiritual writer is trying to convey. I loved this book and read it in two sittings, early in the AM hours when I usually contemplate my life. If you are anywhere near wondering about your place in all this mess that Satan has usurped, I strongly show more suggest you pray and read this book. Thank you, Tim for sending me your book as a free giveaway, God has His hand on you when you picked who needed it most. Maggie show less

While I appreciate his thoughts and cannot fault his theology, I was significantly distracted by his oppressive marketing strategy throughout the book.
I think it is a meaningful message that needs to be thought about and read and processed. But I don't want to be directed to a website every chapter for resources to buy every chapter. Keep up the good work and writing and teaching. Thank you for the book.
