When I saw this book I had to read it as it was a story based around the 21st December 2012 and this is something that really intrigues me. I wasn’t sure quite what to expect in the story as the description didn’t really give much away but the did not deter me
It is obviously about the end of the world, but the story on how they get to that point in time is really interesting. With a lot of action, sci-fi, thriller, violence, romance and some sexual content the book had it all. It was show more fast pacing and I just hope we don’t all suffer déjá vu within the last 57 hours before December 21st 2012 otherwise I will start to worry. I liked the freshness a woman being the one trying to save the world with her companion as ok the man was the one that was fending off by accidently killing a few people on the way but it was prominently about Ana and her connecting to quantum space and the time loop and how she would try to fix it.
It was a great read with lots of twists and turns along the way and it got my brain ticking. show less

War! Maybe some wars could be diverted if leaders would maintain a cool head and not act and react irrationally. This story is set in the future – 2016; 2017. In the political arena, there is a male President and a female Vice President. The USA was testing their B2 modification, called WASP, over North Korea’s air space. North Korea reacted; things intensified; war was the result.
This war was fought primarily in the Korean DMZ and North Korea, but much fighting was taking place in the show more United States as sleeper cells were following the lead of Kim Un Do who had been born into Korea’s National Intelligence Service. She was of superior intellect and spoke several languages fluently. She was a sadist who had no problem with torture and killing. She was captured and brought to the United States to an institute in Dulles, VA where Dr. Helen Connery could study her. Mind games … as in ‘it’s all fun and games until someone gets’ killed.
The author added a lot of imagination to a story of the future which read like yesterday’s newspaper. There was a lot of action and innovative inventions at our military’s disposal in this story. The character development was great; I enjoyed much of the camaraderie between ‘our guys’. It is rather long – 394 pages. Except for the beginning and the last 15% of the novel, it moved at a steady pace. I gave it a rating of 3.5 out of 5.
