Great little book! Very inspirational and as an educator I was particularly interested and enthralled during the section that talked about how Helen Keller's teacher managed to teach her to read and write when she was both blind and deaf! Amazing!
Summary: This book was about the life of Harriet Tubman. Harriet Tubman was born into slavery. She lived a horrible life being beaten and treated worse than some animals. Harriet began to have dreams that would eventually help her lead slaves to freedom. Harriet was known to the slaves as "Moses" meaning the one who delivers her slave people to freedom.

Personal Reaction: This book gave me and up close and personal look at Harriet Tubman's life. A view of slavery from the slaves show more side.

Classroom Extension:
This book can be used as a tool to understand slavery from a slaves point of view.
This book can be used to reference the Underground Railroad that was used to free slaves.
