- Marion is a graduate of the Elk City School of Preaching and began preaching in 1970. He has preached for over forty years. College degrees include: (A.S.) Southwestern Oklahoma State University (Sayre campus), (baccalaureate and doctorate) Oklahoma State University, (masters) University of Illinois. Marion has completed upper division Greek at Oklahoma Christian College. He retired as a professor (engineering-science division) from Rose State College in 2003. He was a National Science Foundation fellow in engineering, physics, and semiconductor manufacturing. He has held gospel meetings and preached by appointment in several other states (Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Wyoming). He preached and lectured at two state universities in Russia on scientific evidences for the existence of God. Marion also lectured on the existence of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in England and has preached in Jamaica. He has engaged in six oral debates and two written debates. Marion holds seminars on the Biblical Flood, the work of the Holy Spirit, and other special topics.
Marion has served as a teacher for the Elk City School of Preaching; Elk City, Oklahoma 1973-76; Westside School of Preaching; Duncan, Oklahoma 1976 (Fall); Oklahoma School of Bible/Preaching; McLoud, Oklahoma 1977-1981; Great Plains School of Bible/Preaching; Elmore City, Oklahoma 1989-91; Rocky Mountain Audio and Video Bible Institute; Selmer, TN: 1999-2006; and Online Academy of Biblical Studies; Dyersburg, TN: 2000-2005.
He written the following books: A Study of the Biblical Flood, The Work of the Holy Spirit, Vol. I, The Work of the Holy Spirit, Vol. II, The Role of Women, Vol. I, The Work of Women, Vol. II, The Great Commission. He has also written many outline books for OKCSBS, including: Fundamentals of the Faith, A Study of Angels, Satan, and Demons, and Logic and Debate.
Marion taught electronic engineering technology, mathematics, physics, and computer programming in colleges in Oklahoma for 29 years (retiring in 2003). He taught as an adjunct professor (preparing students [in mathematics and physics] to enter medical school) for the University of Oklahoma for 8 years and has worked in industry as an electrical engineer (avionics, computer systems, and RF systems).
