My first Touhou manga and it's good, it's a nice little piece of fiction, BUT it seems like each volume is only a chapter of the overall story. This first chapter was free on Amazon's Kindle Store, so I added it to my account instantly and started reading. But again, it's only one chapter, so it's extremely short. It seems like the other chapters that are available on Amazon are around 2 USD each, but it seems like the ones that are available are pretty random numbers (7, 55, 56, 57). So show more good luck trying to read it digitally on Amazon in it's entirety. Definitely unfortunate, plus I don't know if a physical English translated version of this exists.

Overall: neat mystery set up, but I hate the idea of having to buy each chapter individually. Just give me a solid volume that contains a few chapters or giant omnibus containing the whole story.

At first I thought this was going to be a waste of time. In the first chapter the characters all seemed kind of ditsy, but there were youkai involved so I was interested enough to continue reading. I'm glad I did. Not only were there lots more youkai than I expected, but the main characters shaped up nicely and became interesting. Kosuzu with her boundless enthusiasm and complete lack of fear and common sense actually ended up being a lot of fun and I found myself wanting to know what on show more earth kind of trouble she's going to cause next time. I'm going to start reading the next one now :) show less
Love the art for this one and really anything about books will always win, but overall I found myself getting too distracted reading it. This is kind of a quiet fantasy, somewhat in line with ANTIQUE GIFT SHOP though so far, less spooky.

Fine enough but easily forgettable.
