If you want to start a foundry at home, this is the book. The author has done a very good job simplifying metal casting theory. His recipes for molding sands, core binders, and washes are great.
A very cool book on building and operating a small cupola. Very useful for the hobby foundryman, but not very useful for industrial foundryman.
Great book for the hobby foundryman.
