Tony Rinaudo is an Australian agronomist. He worked for SIM in Niger on the edge of the Sahara desert and later World Vision. God answered prayer and Tony discovered restoring degraded landscapes without planting a single tree. Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration of forests started with a small beginning and already it has regreened more than 18 million hectares in 27 countries around the world. Through Tony’s work with SIM and World Vision lives and livelihood of millions have been improved.
