Reviving Work Ethic: A Leader's Guide to Ending Entitlement and Restoring Pride in the Emerging Workforce by Eric Chester
This book is for leaders who need help working with the "Millenials" workforce. The author helps us understand how to mentor our young employees to achieve a stronger work ethic that will serve them for their whole lives. The author organizes the book into 7 basic areas that comprise "work ethic". He says we want positive enthusiastic people who show up on time, are dressed and prepared properly, go out of their way to add value/do more than required, play by the rules, are honest, and give show more cheerful, friendly service. He addresses each area separately.
The book is organized well and a fairly quick read. I picked this book up at the library after just reading the first 3 words of the title... my team skews older, but I still gained a few tips. show less
