Like all his Bryce Attewell books, this one is filled with deadpan humor. It is a story about gangsters, about Vegas, about sleaze. But, it doesn't take itself too seriously. Bryce is a Special Agent with the
World Espionage Bureau, an agency that Raetz never fully defines but which is like the FBI, the CIA, and British Intelligence all rolled into one. It's headquartered in Las Vegas. Bryce is a sharpshooter, kind of
a rogue agent, and a cross between James Bond and Dirty Harry. All his show more stories are in part homage to the old fashioned noirish spy novels of the late fifties and early sixties.

This one begins with Bryce stranded by the side of the road in the Nevada desert with a stiff in the trunk. A gorgeous blonde in an SUV with two elderly Germans in the backseat picks him up. He leaves her handcuffed to the wheel at the Golden
Nugget. The author then flashes back to explain how Bryce ended up in this situation. Bryce and two other agents are out to take out a major arms dealer. Bruce makes contact with the dangerous Jericho
and en route to the finale ends up working with Mitzi, a call girl, and her bouncer, Vince.

All in all, an enjoyable read. These books are just all out fun to read. Nuff said.

In this 99-page novella, Bill Raetz offers up another tale involving Bryce Attewelle, special agent of the World Espionage Bureau. The agency is some kind of super law enforcement agency like the FBI,
CIA, and MC5 all rolled into one. Bryce is a cross between James Bond and Dirty Harry. The tales are fun, fast paced, action thrillers that all take place in Las Vegas.

In this particular story, Bryce takes out a
nasty arms dealer after obtaining an assault rifle from the headliner at
the show more Voodoo Lodge, the incomparable Ginger Tate, who he then goes on
to date for several months. The shoot goes well except when Metro Police show up to investigate a murder suicide in the hotel room next door. Bryce is later informed that the agency has labelled this a bad
shooting and he is going to take the fall. His handler suggests an urgent meeting outside Denny's but is gunned down by a psychopath before he can speak with Bryce who is the next target of the
psychopath.

It's a terrific fast read that doesn't take itself too seriously. Grab a tropical drink at the pool and enjoy. And catch Ginger
Tate's act next time you are in town.

The star of this book is Allison Finley, who
happens to be both a contract killer and the kind of lesbian men fantasize about with a body straight out of a centerfold and a libido to match. Raetz tells the story from Allison's point of view and he was
certainly up to the challenge, including shopping and spa treatments.

But she's a killer and her lover retains her for the job of offing the officer who put her daddy on death row - it is none other than Bryce Attewelle of the World Espionage show more Bureau. If you are not familiar with the agency, just think of it as a cross between the CIA, the FBI, and British Intelligence. The story flows smoothly. It is an extremely quick read. My only criticism is the ending, which could have been better. Overall, a worthwhile adult read
that doesn't take itself too seriously,

This 43page novella was a fun fast read. Like all bryce attewelle thrillers, the scene is vegas and spies, booze, hot dames, and murder are on the menu. Not as complex as some of Bryce's other adventures,
but well worth your time. This feels pulpy like something from the forties or fifties.

For those of you who are not familiar with Raetz's character, Bryce Attewelle, let me explain that he is an agent for the
World Espionage Bureau, which is a super law enforcement agency kind of like the show more FBI and the CIA all rolled up together. As for Bryce, he's a sharpshooter with over 300 confirmed kills. He's kind of like
James Bond and Dirty Harry morphed together. He operates out of Las
Vegas with plenty of opportunities for booze and broads.

In this particular story, he is tasked with taking out another sleazy operator,
Paul Barros. But first, he kidnaps the grifter's girl and demands a million dollars in ransom even though the 26 yr old gold digger thinks she's worth far more
