As "Big Little" books go this one-sitting read has a good story with an appropriately comic book resolution and lots of cartoon illustrations inked in faded primary colours. A guilty pleasure to be sure, I just wish I had bought more of these back in the days when they were available in 6-packs on store shelves everywhere.

The book is a written version of the television show Shazzan in which Chuck and Nancy must free the Glass Princess. I felt that this was an awful book. It was hard to read since it is a very small book. It had too many words and chapters with bad illustrations. It felt like the author just condensed the TV show script. It did follow the normal theme of fantasy, the good vs. evil with the good triumphing, but over all it is just a bad book. For today's children there are much better Arabian show more fantasy books out there. I would not recommend this to anyone to buy. show less
