Easily my favorite volume of the series so far. Literally laughed out loud multiple times. Eimi is just the absolute best, and even though I feel sorry for Simone, his struggles with Eimi make me laugh too. Of course I like Wanichin, but I'm a little confused by him. I look forward to reading more.

I think I liked this volume more because it had a lot more to do with Eimi than the other characters, and she's just the absolute best.

Maaan I wish there were more of these. But I'm very pleased with how the series ended. Eimi is so adorably wonderful. I love her so much, and there's so much of her weird quirkiness in this volume (plus some tiny peeks at her parents).

Really the only downside to Beauty is the Beast for me is that for some reason I just can't remember who is who. There are so many names flying around and I forget who is who and who has what quirk.

This volume specifically had a lot to do with side characters. This isn't necessarily bad, because I like most of them, but I just like Eimi and Wanichubi so much more. I want to see more of them.

At first, I wasn't overly impressed, and expected to not like it. The art is good, but not super clean or anything. There were many times when I was confused about who was speaking or what exactly was going on. I get confused about the characters too, because they either all look the same or aren't given a lot of introduction time, making it hard for me to learn who they are. I'm starting to get it, but honestly there's still only three people whose names I know.

Despite all this... I'm such show more a sucker for shoujo school romance humor stories. Eimi just makes me laugh because she's so... I don't even know. But she and "Wanichin" are just so funny together.

It just makes me really happy, and that's mostly why I read shoujo manga. show less
