A different plotting for a ghost story. I wasn’t sure as I began reading if I would like the story, the show more heroine is just so prickly and defensive; so, wrapped up in her own memories. But this author was up to the challenge of creating sense and compassion out of chaos. show less

I started this on #4 but will be going back to the beginning. I love cozy mysteries but this one wasn't just a funny mystery with a great cast (it was all that) but it had more depth than you normally find. It was written very well and flowed so well that I couldn't put it down. Loved it!

I think I should've started at the beginning of the series before reading this, honestly. The story was ok, I was a little confused on the characters relationships with each other. Loved the incorporation of the supernatural/paranormal. I think this would have been more enjoyable had I read the other books first.

Short, sweet, silly, but endearing.
