Darkest Unsolved Mysteries by Edward Collins is basically a recap from the Netflix program that highlighted a number of unsolved mysteries. It consists mostly of murders, although there was one story of alien abductions from 1969 that I found interesting.
Although I love reading fictional mysteries and police procedurals, I am not a fan of real life murders as they usually are upsetting and disturbing. This book was no exception, I just don’t enjoy reading about this dark side of life. Most show more murderers aren’t all that clever, just lucky and even then they seem to eventually get caught.
I also wasn’t very impressed with the editing of this book, as they were a number of grammar issues. I would say that Darkest Unsolved Mysteries would only appeal to people who have a particular interest in one of the crimes that are highlighted in the book. show less
