Laugh-out aloud funny. Typeset ridiculously and (supposedly) printed on Kazhakstan's finest grade paper ("50% tree, 10% asbestos, 22% gypsy, 18% pubis") Borat takes us on yet another side-splitting, politically incorrect, unashamedly voyeuristic, yet typically in-character tour in this double ended book about the "U S And A."[sic] and "glorious nation of Kazhakstan".

Borat had me in stitches by deliberately misidentifying George Bush senior in a photo as GW, the current "Premier of US And A" show more (George Walter[sic] Bush) and alongside a picture of former first lady Barbara on the Astros' pitcher mound ("This , his father Barbara, who was premier before him").

Hillary next to Obama in a debate identified as "..is hopes to be premier again(!) in 2008. Here she is with basketball player." Dry wit for a change.

Faux paper rips and faux questionable stains adorn every page, like antique woodworm in a period piece.

Most jokes are unfit for reprdouction here. But. Is Great Success. Hashkameesh. AUTHOR NOTE : "Borat Sagdiyev have had hair on pubis for 35 harvest, he have correct number of limbs and chram [ a Borat obsession, see the movie if you dont know this word ] thick like can of Pepsi. Borat is current marry to his third wife. First two is dead. He did not kill them. "

What can a reviewer say except "waawwaaawweeee!"

lol wtf. But overall a pretty solid sequel to the first. Plenty of offensive humor, which is perfectly ok for me but the one thing that did bother was was showing a 15-year-old character starting to pleasure herself (the actress was an adult, and I get that this was meant to show Tutar's learning about herself and what a woman can do, but I feel this scene could have been done differently)
This is NOT for those easily offended. This presents itself as a mockumentary of a Kazakh reporter coming to the USA. If you have a dark/offensive sense of humor, this is the movie for you.

I liked most of this movie, but the thing that made me drop one star was the scene where Borat shat in a bag. I know he made a lot of jokes about how backwards his 'Borat' home country was, you can see it plainly in his intro but the shit was just pushing it too far, it's no wonder that actual Kazakh show more people were pissed off at this film. show less
Some of this is genuinely funny. Some just makes you cringe. But I am a fan overall of Ali G. Remarkably clever, and remarkably bold. ...an example from this book: "VanGog won de most brilliant artist ever coz when he won colouring in he never went over any off de lines"
or "When u hear de word career u probably fink of dat country in China where de Vietnams war append, but it also got summon to do wit jobs." A pity that I'm downsizing my library and this has to go. Four stars from me.
