This book is divided up with a chapter for each month. The "jokes" are often not funny, but only mildly amusing. This is not the kind of book you can sit down and read from cover to cover. Some of quotes are excellent. The cartoons are also good.

A joyful book to read for the Christian who might need a real spiritual lift to get a merry heart again. Also a good resource for developing a church related talk or sermon. It contains lots of biblical, church, and family related values and references.

Substance: Collected bits of humor, all clean, related to some aspect of Christianity, mostly the foibles of its practitioners. Intended for the use of preachers and healers - "Laughter is the best medicine" style. Includes some fairly trenchant observations on life and humanity.
Style: No continuous narrative; divided into rough categories.
