This had everything such as forced proximity, enemies to lovers and slow burn romance. The spice was immaculate I knew Leigh and Avina would do this book amazingly but they really blew me away. I could not put the book down and kept saying one more show more chapter way past the time I was meant to be sleeping. Lynx was such a strong headed stubborn man (well demon) but the way he would crumble with just one look from Sable made my heart melt. The way he slowly fell in love with her was done impeccably, this really was the way to do a slow burn.

Not only was Lynx and Sable amazing main characters but the side character Tony (a hellhound) stole my heart as well. The banter between the three of them was amazing I was giggling kicking my feet and i loved it. The dark humour was so funny throughout the whole book but there was so many parts that had me swooning as well.

Despite everything he’s made to do, what stood out to me was that his feelings for Stacey never waver. That contrast—between who he is forced to be and who he still is at his core—makes his character even more compelling and tragic.
