thank you valentine pr and netgalley for an ARC of Dangerously Ours

This series was really good, I loved the first two books in the series however this one fell flat. I’m so gutted to say that because I have loved all the characters but there was some tropes I don’t like in this book which pulled me out the story.

That’s on me though the story was still enjoyable if you like why choose you’ll love this and even though I don’t like why choose I would still recommend this whole series.

Phoebe and Rocky remain my favourites but I do have such a soft spot for Hailey. The whole found family vibes are immaculate in this book, the way they all look out for each other really melted my heart and I loved that part of the book.

Overall this is a good read just wasn’t for me personally but I know a lot of people who would love it!!!
Does this woman ever miss ??? Jennifer Hartmann has done it again with an amazing book filled with angst, pain and love.

I can say that I will honestly read anything that Jennifer writes and when I found out this was second chance romance I jumped at the chance to read it. Now I don’t usually enjoy the famous trope but it didn’t bother me in this book I actually enjoyed it, Lex being in the limelight whereas Stevie living on her family farm was such a good dynamic which you wouldn’t think would work but I think it added to the story being from different backgrounds.

I’m also a sucker for past to present timelines and being able to read about their young love developing when they meet in high school was perfect to add the tension of them being together when they are adults. Also the way they initially fell in love through acting in a play with perfect like my heart was melting.

I wanted both characters to be loved in the way they deserve and they got that with each other, Lexs trauma broke me and the way he came out of himself towards the end of the book being able to finally let someone else (Stevie) help carry some of the weight of him trauma was inspiring because as it’s shown that trauma is just black and white and people deal with it differently.

I honestly just loved this and if you are looking for a book to break your heart but also put it back together again I would highly recommend.
this was such a good thriller/mystery. I loved Megans first book and though this didn’t hit the same as that book this was still really good. The pacing was really well done and I felt as though the story was convoluted which I think can happen when there’s multiple characters throughout the story but this all flowed together perfectly.

I don’t want to go into the plot as I went on relatively blind and think that’s how you should go in with this one. But the twist in the plot were good i did guess a lot of it but it didn’t take away from the story. I would definitley recommend it for a fast paced thriller
this was such an interesting book, I’ve never read a book with this storyline before and I was excited for a good cry. I loved the Nadia and Rafe storyline but I could warm to Grayson I did like Reid though but i just felt Grayson wasn’t all that good of a person to Reid even if they were bestfriends. I also didn’t enjoy that they got engaged so quickly but i do understand that with something so life threatening you will think about the future more. I also felt it dragged a bit but i think that’s because it was in 3rd person but it wasn’t a bad book at all just wasn’t personally for me.
this was a fun sports romance. I loved the friendship group in this book but for some reason the romance was lacking. It was just a bit immature for the characters being 21/22. I can tell the series is going to be good though I loved Sienna and Gavin and hoping for their book !!!
A demon falls in love with a girl who he killed her what’s not to adore !!! Sable tries to summon her dead sister but a demon appears instead and kills her. Here enters Lynx the demon who has been stuck in hell for many many many years!!!

This had everything such as forced proximity, enemies to lovers and slow burn romance. The spice was immaculate I knew Leigh and Avina would do this book amazingly but they really blew me away. I could not put the book down and kept saying one more chapter way past the time I was meant to be sleeping. Lynx was such a strong headed stubborn man (well demon) but the way he would crumble with just one look from Sable made my heart melt. The way he slowly fell in love with her was done impeccably, this really was the way to do a slow burn.

Not only was Lynx and Sable amazing main characters but the side character Tony (a hellhound) stole my heart as well. The banter between the three of them was amazing I was giggling kicking my feet and i loved it. The dark humour was so funny throughout the whole book but there was so many parts that had me swooning as well.

Honestly the best paranormal romance I’ve ever read 🖤
I have been waiting very impatiently for this book and honestly it did not disappoint.

I absolutely adored this storyline and character developments throughout the book. ALSO LETS TALK ABOUT HOW I CANT STOP SMILING AT THE FOUND FAMILY. This storyline with a one night stand to forced proximity could’ve been cliche and like a lot of other books but this had me hooked. It had everything I enjoy in a book and the characters were a bit too relatable.

I haven’t related to a character more than Aurora in so long, her “daddy issues” and the way she feels unwanted and abandoned hit me a bit too much and not to trauma dump but seeing her be able to stick up for herself made me so unbelievably happy but also I sobbed. Russ also being able to get the confidence to put his foot down to his Dad and not allow him to treat him like shit was just amazing.

Russ my little angel had my heart from the start of the book the ‘awkward golden retriever boy’ who observes and doesn’t want attention on him. The fact that he went from “faking” confidence to finding it within himself through the book just makes me so happy. He honestly has become one of my favourite book boyfriends, like come on he was the most caring boy but THE DIRTY TALK!!!

My man could get it.

I haven’t stopped thinking about their love and growth within their relationship but also within themselves, this book has stolen my heart.
This was such a cute, lighthearted book. I really enjoyed the FMC and all the side characters. I was interested in the way the book was going and was secretly hoping there wasn’t a future for Elliot and Esme because what’s in the past is the majority of the time meant to stay there!!! I loved Morgan I felt so bad for her and wanted to give her the biggest hug and to get her to believe in herself. I adored Lloyd I thought he was such a sweetheart and if there was a book for when Gwen and Lloyd got together from the very start I think that would be amazing. I did see the plot twist coming but I also didn’t think the chemistry was as strong as it was with 2 other characters so in a way I wish they had ended up together instead of the plot twist couple but it was a sweet, easy book to read and i enjoyed it. Thank you Netgalley and publishers for an ARC of this book which is out of 26th of January
